Totem Energy Reading for the Day

Today's Totem Spirit Guide is quite a popular one in the world, The Crow.

Crow is a guide who has roots in most every culture, and in most all of these cultures she is part of the Creation Mythos.

The first thing we always notice about Crow is her color, a deep Black, and at times when the sun gleams off her feathers a deep blue and on rare occasion a deep dark green can be seen. In many cultures the color black represents the color of creation. For it was out of the darkness, the deep black void of nothingness, that the Divine created life and the Cosmos. Crows deep black color is a representation of the Energy and Magic of the Divine Creation, and to remind us that this energy is all around us, not just in the Void.

Because of this Crow has always been considered a spirit of the night and a spirit of Creation, acting as a messenger between the Spirit world, the Divine and our own. But Crow is actually Diurnal, or a Creature of the Day, her deep black color can be seen as a reminder that even in the day, creation energy is all around us. When Crow crosses your path there is always a reason, always a message, always something to learn.

Crow being considered one of the most intelligent birds, she is able to figure out complex situations and has learned how to adapt to most any environment. Unlike many of its feathered brothers and sisters Crow will work together to fend off many of its predators. Being Omnivores she is opportunistic hunter, Crows have been know to work together to steal the food of others.

Crows are the Sentinels of its environment, making their roosts and nests as high as possible, in the tops of trees, buildings or just about any structure. they are always ever watchful of their surroundings, sounding off with a caw at any sight of danger. Crow has been known to follow hunters in the forest, to warn its brother and sister animals of the impending danger they bring.

Though Crow is considered a Songbird and does have a voice box, she has chosen to use the Language of the Caw. Crows Caw has quite the range, there are many fluctuations within the vocal range of her caw and each one has a meaning. Her Caw is always distinguishable from all the other birds, when he hear her Caw we know it is her and no one else. She asks you are you speaking your truth?

When Crow is building its nest, both the male and female crow work together building it as high as they can, so to protect their young and to keep watch of their feeding grounds. Crows Nest is very important to it. So much so even the young crows do not defecate or “mess” in their nest. Its nest is quite intricately made, every stick is woven perfectly with the next, its nest is its home, and its sacred space. Crows nest is a great way to look at one's way of life and one's home. When we meditate upon Her nest and how it is built and kept we can gain much insight into our own lives.

She asks you to look at your nest, your home, your life. Is our nest open and clean and well put together so our soul has its space to grow and allow new energies and opportunities into our lives? Or have we filled our nest and messed with init in so much that our soul has no room to grow and thrive within, leaving it weak and faded. She Asks you how can you hear what i have to say when there is no room for my message to be seen.

If we take a step back and truly look at crow they are a Master Architect of life. Much can be learned from crow, but its lessons aren’t always the easiest to understand for Crow loves to speak in metaphors and riddles, she likes to remind you of her intelligence, and if you were to ask her she would say she is the smartest of all the birds.

With her brilliance Crow has been known to predict disastrous storms, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. When Crow crosses your path it is not always an omen of bad things coming toward you, but it can be a sign that a shift and change in your life is on its way. She says to open you mind, heart, and eyes and look at what is around you. Remember crow won't come straight forward and say what you need to hear, so one must look at the little things, pay attention, the littlest of things could have profound messages.

Above All Crow is a Messenger, and when she visits you, it's a good idea to listen. She brings with her the energy of creation and reminds you of the strength and power within you. Open to her guidance, and become the Architect of your own reality.

And with Crow flying into our path today we also have our lovely Moon making her transit through Libra. Libra brings to us a tribal energy, one of communication and resolution. Libra is able to see both sides of a situation, making her hesitant of confrontation, not wanting to hurt anyone involved. She teaches us that at times it is best to put our emotions aside to achieve the peace we so desire. When Libra and Crow come together it is sign of a message needing to be heard. Remember Crow is a tribal spirit, a crow never flies far from its flock (murder), it cares deeply for its tribe, as does Libra. In this time we treat things delicately, and intelligently, thinking before we speak.

Numerologically today is a 3. 3 speaks to us of speaking our truth and being honest in all of our dealings. When we do these things, 3 brings to us creativity and the ability to have deep insight. With Libra and Crow, 3 can lead us down of path of internal wisdom, and creative expression. For those who are Creative souls, today is the perfect day to open to your muse and allow your Artistic Expression to flow.

Crow, Libra and #3 say to you, Remember your personal truth.
