Totem Energy Reading for the current Moon Phase
Today's Animal Spirit Guide has a wonderful resonance with what our Moon is Currently Transiting through. We have the Golden Eagle flying along side the Moon as she transits through Aquarius 10/11/2016 - 10/13/2016.
Let us begin with our Moon transiting through Aquarius. While Aquarius dances with the Moon an interesting energy begins to stir and shake. Aquarius brings to us a feeling of personal freedom. Aquarius likes to stir up our inner personal activist. An example I like to use to describe Aquarius is that of the Hippies of the 60’s and 70’s. Very Much that of personal expression and Freedom, Of peace, love and community. But Aquarius is a shaker and mover so if you don't listen to what it has to say it will chain itself to a bulldozer, or even burn a building down while setting free all the animals from the zoo. It will make sure it is heard and that you remember what it said.
Aquarius is a tribal sign, it loves gatherings, and adventures. But Aquarius loves to be the leader of the tribe, but at the same time has no time for the responsibility that comes with being the leader, for it is to concerned with its next adventure or great cause. Aquarius has an amazing heart, your water signs love deeply and intensely, and at times conditionally, while Aquarius loves wide, and just because it can. Aquarius’s love is almost always unconditional, and when i say Aquarius’s love is wide i mean it has the ability to love many. They are PLUR. PLUR is an anagram used in the Rave culture of the 1990’s that stood for Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. Many may not see this but it is how Aquarius feels.
Aquarius is also an amazing source of inspiration, and creativity. Aquarius can also assist you on journeys to help heal your inner child. Aquarius may get out of hand at times, but in general it is a very gentle teacher. So this is a great time if feel drawn to step back into your child's shoes and take part in a great adventure.
Now to move on it our Spirit Guide who flies alongside the Moon on her journey, the Golden eagle. One of the first things i feel compelled to bring up with having any Eagle as a spirit guide or totem sign is that so many people abuse the medicine of the Eagle. When eagle comes to a person it brings a great deal of energy and pride, for eagle is a sacred and noble guide. Many people will plaster their homes, vehicles and clothing with imagery of the Eagle and boast of having the Eagle as their spirit guide but then do the opposite of what eagle teaches. Eagle teaches us to have the pride that comes with Nobility but also the humility that comes with thepower it brings.
When Eagle visits us it brings the gift of strength and speed. The strength it brings is that of person will and a healthy pride. We are the ones that make pride unhealthy. With the strength and power eagle brings there are very few things one can not be accomplish, and its pride it brings is knowing you are worth achieving your goals and aspirations in life.
Now the Speed that Brings is that of time. When Eagle lends us its medicine, all of our emotions, thoughts and words manifest much much quicker than normal into our personal realities. Eagle reminds you, “you are the Architect of your own reality, be it positive or negative you bring it towards you. If you constantly speak negative it is the energy you will quickly bring, but if you speak your dreams, you bring them into reality just as quickly. Remember its up to you.”
Now with the golden Eagle we have the representation of the Sun and its energy. A Union of the Sun and the Moon as they dance through the sky. It can be a very powerful moment in your life. This can bring a balance of masculine and feminine energies. If you are trying to balance and bring peace to a household this is the perfect time to do so. Or if you are trying to find peace within oneself, balancing your emotions, finding the person within, there is no better time then when you have the Suns and Moon Energies Dancing together.
Also what most do not know is that the Golden Eagle can fly Higher, faster and is much more gracefully than the Bald eagle. Its main prey is that of the Rabbit and other small land animals. While chasing the rabbit it must be able to change directions on a moments notice, showing amazing adaptability. Reminding you to never fear changing direction. It is in these Changes life brings some of the greatest rewards.
Another part of Eagles flight we seem to forget is it love of flight. We see Eagle in the sky and assume it is hunting. But the truth is, eagle is such an amazing hunter that it only hunts about 40% of the time it's flying, the rest of the time it’s enjoying looking over its domain, or dancing in the sky with its brothers and sisters.
Many people have this misconception that eagles are lone creatures, where that just isn't always true. Mind you they are not flock creatures but they are often seen hunting and playing with others of their kind in the sky. Teaching us that though we may not be a flock, we still need our tribe.
Now Eagle and Aquarius together bring in some amazing energy with the potential for great things. This is the perfect time to begin new projects, both alone and with others. Eagle and Aquarius both bring you the strength and pride to achieve your dreams. Remember Eagle speeds things up during this time, so please take advantage of that, but remember you create your reality, the positive and the negative, so be careful and choose your actions and words wisely. And Remember to treat the eagle with respect. If you feel Eagle has chosen to help you on your path as your Spirit Guide or Totem Animal please treat its medicine with respect, for it is a gift, not a right, and Eagle will only tolerate its medicine being abused for so long before it will take back what was given, creating an opportunity for you to truly learn humility.
