Totem Energy reading for the Day

First I would like to start today's energy reading with a look at the past week. Many of the messages have been about personal growth and path work. It seems as if we are in a wave of energy that is all about growth, and change. Even today we still have this energy. It is as if the universe is uprooting all things that no longer serve our highest purpose, and giving us the opportunity to sift out that which needs to change if we so choose to.

The universe will do this time and time again until we get its message. The problem is overtime we tend to no longer listen and that's when the universe will step in, and create a situation for you to see exactly what needs to change and at times it will give you no choice.

Sometimes our actions become such a detriment to our lives that the universe will step in and change it for you, and these changes, most of the time, are never fun.

So please listen, feel, and watch your surroundings, the universe right now seems as if it is trying to speak to all of us, and it has a message, no matter how loud the messages or how soft it is the messages is there and probably quite important.

Now with that out of the way we can move on to our Totem Spirit Guide who happens to be the Rabbit.

Rabbit I feel is one of the most misunderstood guides among us. Yes many view the Rabbit as a sign of abundance and fertility. But we also view Rabbit is a symbol of fear, which is so far from the truth. Rabbit in the wild is extremely intelligent, they are always on the lookout for their predators, always awear, their sense of hearing and smell are extremely acute. People see Rabbit huddled in one place thinking it is struck with fear but in truth Rabbit is meticulously viewing it surroundings finding all of its exit points, Rabbit is always at least three steps ahead, but when Rabbit is cornered he or she then becomes a warrior. I personally have witnessed Rabbit in the wild as the warrior. I have watched coyote sneak up on Rabbit, chase it down, and corner it. But to coyotes surprise Rabbit jumped through the air, almost like a ninja, screeching and attacking the coyote, scaring the living daylights out of the coyote. Even in my own backyard I have watch the Rabbit be stalked by the neighborhood cats, but much much to their surprise the Rabbit springs to action and attack them in defence. We must not think of Rabbit as a coward but as meticulous warrior.

Yes Rabbit does represent fertility and abundance but Rabbit also represents the cycle of life, for a Rabbit's cycle is 28 days. 28 days after being birthed a Rabbit is able to survive without its mother, and every 28 to 31 days a Rabbit is able to have a litter of kits. But she tends to only have 3 to 5 litters a year. Her litters maybe close together or far apart, just as a Rabbit hops or leaps. But she reminds us that life and nature are cyclical. Much like the phases of the moon.

Now when Rabbit comes to us it is a reminder of the abundance of life. She brings the energy of abundance and she brings the energy of change. Rabbits are much like humans, Rabbits do not adapt to their surroundings, they change the their surroundings and make it adapt to them. A healthy Rabbit will keep balance within its habitat, where a rabid Rabbit or unhealthy Rabbit will destroy its habitat. It will consume all that it can, and continually breed and create abundance until its surroundings can no longer sustain the abundance that it creates, and then the population of the rabid Rabbit will die.

Yes I know that sounds bleak but it is a reminder to keep your abundance in balance. Are you using your resources wisely, are you designing your habitat in such a way that it will sustain your life and not burn you and everyone around you out. Rabbit says to be wise with your surroundings, with your tribe, and with your abundance. Now let's look at this past week again, over and over again it has been about designing your path re-creating your life and detoxing that which is not in your best interest out of your life. And now Rabbit says to take your habitat, your life, your surroundings, and molded to fit your path but to be wise about it, for the is abundances there, the energy is there just waiting to be used, all it takes is that leap of faith, moment of courage, releasing the Warrior within, for it to be accomplished.

Now let's add in our lovely Moon and her transit through Virgo. Virgo is all about making order out of chaos, planning and structuring our lives and all that is around us. When Virgo is here it is to aid us with this bringing order to our lives. She has a wonderful ability of grounding those of us who seem to always be in the clouds. She comes to you lending her heart and her hands, to help reign you in, and set you down so you can achieve the greatness within. Virgos energy can stern but it is only because she can see the possibilities within, and if alow her to assist you great things can accomplish.
