Totem Energy for the Day
As we exit Mercury retrograde and head into Mercury direct with the moon in Gemini (9/21/16 - 9/23/16 5:30am EST) we take a big breath of fresh air and celebrate making it to the other side in one piece, and our animal totem Guide for the day vibrates with these new energies. Today we welcome in the dragonfly. The dragonfly brings to us light, joy, and happiness. Reminding us of the dance that is life.
Dragonflies much like the butterfly are about metamorphosis and change, the difference between the two is the butterflies full cycle of metamorphosis only takes 28 to 38 days, where the dragonfly stays in the larva stage or nymph stage for up to two years. So dragonfly has comes to us to remind us that change takes time, be patient your metamorphosis will come.
Also with having Gemini transiting through the moon with the dragonfly is a huge reminder to live in the moment as the dragonfly does. The dragonfly doesn't spend all day milling around in one place, the dragonfly darts through the skies on its grand adventures letting the light glisten through its wings shining ever so brightly.
Also Remember Gemini is here to remind us of our tribe, to make those connections, to have those adventures. Gemini comes to wake that inner child Who so desperately needs to play. While we have Gemini transiting the moon we need to remember to keep things light and airy, if we try to dig life into deep we will just get lost and overwhelmed. You've spent the last few weeks doing much soul-searching trying to figure life out, trying to find your foundation wile Mercury was in retrograde. It is now time to allow all you learned to assimilate into your soul, this will be a process that takes time just as the dragonfly takes it's time to finish it's metamorphosis.
